About Me

My name is Mariam Kanneh I been a caregiver since 2012 I got many experiences working hospice diabetic cancer and stroke patients and also Parkinson's disease. My first client was a dementia client and also paralyzed soon 8 am I use to give bed bath dry her body and apply some body lotion on it and dress her in bed use the Boyer liftto transfer her and sit her in her wheelchair and take her to the kitchen for breakfast and give her morning pills and take her back in the TV room we use to watch many TV shows together and by noon give her lunch and transfer her back in after lunch so she use the bathroom by putting the bed pan under her. Every Saturday we use to watch Lawrence welltv shows together she use to be so excited. I also had a Parkinson's disease client who I use to wash every week Monday to Friday the main duties was helping her with transferring and washing her and changing her depends she was also diabetic and I use to che k her blood sugar everyday and use to fill up her pills box for the month.
